What We Actually Do Here

We run hands-on floristry workshops for people who want to understand flower work beyond basic bouquets. Started in 2021 because Baku needed something different.

How This Started

Back in early 2021, I was running private floral sessions from a tiny studio near Fountains Square. People kept asking if I did group classes. The problem? Most workshops around here were either too basic or weirdly expensive.

So we started small. Six people in a rented space, working with local flowers, focusing on technique over Instagram trends. Word spread through friends and colleagues, and by autumn 2022, we'd moved to our current location on 28 May Street.

Now we host around thirty masterclasses each year. Some are single sessions, others run over weekends. The goal hasn't changed though — teach real skills that translate to actual floral work, whether you're doing it professionally or just want to stop making sad-looking centerpieces.

What Makes Our Classes Different

Actual Practice Time

You're not watching someone arrange flowers for two hours. Most of our sessions dedicate at least 70% of the time to you working with materials. We demonstrate a technique, then you try it. Multiple times if needed.

Seasonal Materials

We work with what's available locally and seasonally. Spring means ranunculus and anemones from Quba. Autumn brings dahlias and chrysanthemums. You learn to design with what you can actually source, not exotic imports.

Small Group Format

Classes cap at eight participants. This isn't arbitrary — it's the maximum number where everyone gets proper attention and feedback. You can ask questions without competing for instructor time.

Who Teaches These Workshops

Our team includes two primary instructors who handle most masterclasses. Both have different backgrounds, which means you get varied perspectives depending on which session you attend.
